Personuppgifter är all information som går att använda för att identifiera en enskild person. GUB skyddar de personuppgifter vi behandlar då du reser med oss eller vid kommunikation i skade- och/eller synpunktsärenden.
Ansvar för personuppgifter
Vi behandlar personuppgifter under Gamla Uppsala Buss AB:s personuppgiftsansvar.
Vår personuppgiftsbehandling
Vi behandlar främst personuppgifter av kategorierna:
- Anmälares namn, adress, telefon och e-postadress vid några klagomålsärenden.
- Anmälares och andra motparters namn, adress, telefon, e-postadress, personnummer och bankkontonummer vid trafikskadeärenden.
- Om du blir registrerad av GUB:s trygghetskameror behandlar vi de rörliga bilderna från trygghetskamerorna.
Vi behandlar Personuppgifter för att kunna:
- Bemöta klagomål från resenärer, medtrafikanter och allmänheten.
- Reglera trafikskador både som drabbad och vållande part.
- Bistå polis med bevismaterial vid brottsutredningar.
Bemöta klagomål
- Vi behandlar personuppgifter om en passagerare, medtrafikant eller annan anmälare av klagomål själv önskar bli kontaktad av oss. Vi behöver ofta inte kontakta anmälaren och då ej heller behandla personuppgifter.
- Personuppgifter behandlar vi i förekommande fall så länge vi behandlar klagomålet.
Reglera skadeärenden
- Vi behandlar personuppgifter om någon av våra bussar blir inblandad i en trafikhändelse med person- eller fordonsskador som följd. Personuppgifter om de inblandade behöver vi för att vårt och övriga berördas försäkringsbolag ska kunna genomföra den skadereglering som försäkringstagarna har rätt till.
- Personuppgifter behandlar vi så länge skadeärendet är aktivt hos vårt försäkringsbolag.
Bistå brottsutredningar
- Rörligt bildmaterial från våra fordons och trafikledares trygghetskameror kan vi på begäran av polis lämna ut vid brottsutredningar.
- Filmat material från bussarnas kameror som inte blivit utbegärt blir automatiskt raderat efter några dagar. Ingen på GUB har tillgång till att granska filmmaterialet från bussarnas kameror. Filmmaterialet från trafikledarnas kroppsburna kameror sparar vi rutinmässigt på skyddade servrar hos oss under en kortare period. Vår rutin tydliggör att ingen har rätt att titta på materialet om det inte blivit utbegärt av rättsväsendet vid brottsutredningar.
Dina rättigheter
Du har enligt integritetsskyddslagen rättigheter som styr hur vi får behandla dina personuppgifter. Vi behandlar bara dina personuppgifter i den utsträckning som är nödvändigt för att uppfylla dina rättigheter.
Du har rätt att:
- få information om vilka personuppgifter vi behandlar om dig,
- begära att vi rättar felaktiga eller ofullständiga uppgifter om dig.
Vi lämnar ut en sammanställning av vilka av en persons personuppgifter vi behandlar — ett registerutdrag. Bara till personen själv och mot en undertecknad skriftlig begäran. Personen kan begära att vi rättar felaktiga uppgifter.
Under vissa omständigheter har du också rätt att begära att vi:
- raderar dina personuppgifter (rätten att bli glömd),
- begränsar behandlingen av dina personuppgifter.
Om du vill att behandlingen av dina uppgifter ska vara begränsasd kan det göra att du inte har tillgång till alla GUB:s tjänster.
OBS!
Vi kan inte radera dina uppgifter om vi är skyldiga enligt lag att ha kvar dem eller om vi behöver dem för att kunna fullgöra avtal med dig.
Bilder ur trygghetskameror
GUB har trygghetskameror som finns placerade på våra fordon. Kamerorna spelar in rörliga bilder från våra trafikområden och vi sparar endast bilderna under en kortare tid.
Trygghetskamerorna använder vi så att du som befinner dig i GUB:s miljöer ska känna dig trygg ifall något händer.
De rörliga bilderna kan vi endast lämna ut till rättsväsendet som bevismaterial vid brottsutredningar.
Om du begär registerutdrag från GUB så lämnar vi aldrig ut personuppgifter om dig som består av rörliga bilder eller stillbilder från trygghetskamerorna. Det beror dels på att vi inte har tekniska förutsättningar för att identifiera personer i rörliga bilder, inte heller någon möjlighet till ett referensregister med bildinformation som gör det möjligt att knyta en bild till en person.
Material från trygghetskameror är sekretessbelagt för tredje man. Även om vi kunnat identifiera personer måste alla andra än den som begärt ut materialet och befinner sig på samma film bli bortmaskade. Utöver det kräver uppgiften ytterligare bearbetning av råmaterialet för att det ska bli tittbart. Sammantaget skulle det vara en oproportionerligt stor arbetsuppgift att ta fram sådana bilder.
Syfte och laglig grund för behandlingen
Bildmaterialet har laglig grund genom intresseavvägning. Bilderna samlar vi in och behandlar för att förebygga hotfulla situationer och för att underlätta utredning i efterhand om det har förekommit hotfulla situationer. Då är GUB:s intresse av att kunna upprätthålla tryggheten i trafiken för både resenärer och vår personal bedömt som tyngre vägande än de registrerades intresse av att inte bli filmade.
Vilka får tillgång till dina uppgifter?
De personuppgifter i form av rörligt bildmaterial från våra trygghetskameror som GUB behandlar delar vi med polismyndighet endast på begäran vid brottsutredningar. Uppgifterna överför vi inte till något land utanför EU/EES.
Vilka är dina rättigheter?
Du har enligt dataskyddsförordningen rätt att få veta om du förekommer på film och om så har du rätt att få ut det inspelade materialet. Du kan kräva att vi ska rätta eller radera det inspelade materialet. Vi har rätt att neka om arbetet skapar orimliga administrativa bördor eller om begäran medför integritetsrisker för andra personer.
GUB har inte möjlighet att söka efter personuppgifter i det filmade materialet. Vi kommer heller inte att kunna lämna ut eller visa bildsekvenser där det finns andra identifierbara personer. Vi måste skydda deras integritet likväl som din.

This is how we process your personal data
Personal information is all information that can be used to identify an individual. GUB protects the personal data we process about you in connection with you traveling with GUB or communicating with GUB in connection with damage and/or point of view matters.
Responsibility for personal data
We process personal data under Gamla Uppsala Buss AB’s personal data responsibility.
Our processing of personal data
We process personal data, mainly of the categories:
- Applicant’s name, address, telephone and e-mail address in some complaint cases.
- Name, address, telephone, e-mail address, social security number and bank account number of the notifier and other counterparties in traffic accident cases.
- If you are registered by GUB’s security cameras, we also process the filmed images from the security cameras.
We process personal data in order to:
- Respond to complaints from travelers, fellow road users and the general public.
- Settle traffic injuries both as an affected and causing party.
- Assist the police with evidence in connection with criminal investigations.
Respond to complaints
- We process personal data if a passenger, fellow passenger or other complainant wishes to be contacted by us. In many cases, we do not need to contact the notifier and then we do not need to process personal data.
- Personal data is processed where applicable as long as the complaint is processed.
Settle claims cases
- We process personal data if any of our buses become involved in a traffic incident resulting in personal injury or vehicle damage. The personal data of those involved is needed for our and the other insurance companies concerned to be able to implement the claims settlement to which the policyholders are entitled.
- Personal data is processed as long as the claim is active with our insurance company.
Assist in criminal investigations
- Personal data in the form of filmed footage from our vehicles and traffic controllers’ security cameras can, at the request of the police, be disclosed in connection with criminal investigations.
- Filmed footage from the onboard cameras that is not requested is automatically deleted after a few days. None of our staff have access to review filmed footage from onboard cameras. Filmed footage from the body-worn cameras is routinely saved on our protected servers for a short period but according to our routine noone shall access the footage unless it is requested by judiciary authorities for use in criminal investigations.
Your rights
According to the privacy protection legislation, you have a number of rights in relation to the processing of your personal data. We process your personal data to the extent necessary to fulfill your rights.
You have the right to:
- get information about what personal data we process about you,
- request that we correct incorrect or incomplete information about you.
We provide a summary of which of a person’s personal data we process – a register extract – but only to the person himself and only if he submits a written signed request. The person can also request correction of incorrect information.
In certain circumstances, you also have the right to request that we:
- delete your personal data (the right to be forgotten),
- restrict the processing of your personal data.
If you want the processing of your data to be restricted, it may mean that you do not have access to all GUB’s services.
NOTE!
We cannot delete your information if we are required by law to keep it or if we need it in order to fulfill an agreement with you.
Pictures from security cameras
We have security cameras onboard our vehicles. The cameras record filmed footage from our traffic areas and we only save the films for a short time.
Our purpose of the security cameras is for you who are in GUB’s environments to feel safe if something happens.
The filmed footage can only be disclosed to judiciary authorities as evidence in criminal investigations.
If you request an extract from the register from GUB, we will never disclose personal information about you that consists of filmed footage or still images from the security cameras. This is partly due to the fact that we do not have the technical prerequisites for identifying people in films, nor any possibility of a reference register with image information that makes it possible to link an image or film to a person.
Material from security cameras is classified by third parties, which means that even if we have had the opportunity to identify people, images of all persons other than the person who requested the material and who are on the same film must be masked. In addition, it is further processing of the raw material that is necessary for it to be viewable. All in all, it would be a disproportionately large task to produce such images.
Purpose and lawful grounds for the processing
Our images/films have lawful grounds through balancing of interests. The images are collected and processed to prevent threatening situations and to facilitate subsequent investigation if threatening situations have occurred. GUB’s interest in being able to maintain traffic safety for both passengers and our staff is then considered to outweigh the data subjects’ interest in not being filmed.
Who gets access to your information?
The personal data in the form of filmed footage from our security cameras that GUB processes about you is shared with the police authority only at its request in connection with criminal investigations. The data is not transferred to any country outside the EU/EEA.
What are your rights?
According to the Data Protection Ordinance, you have the right to know if you are on film and, if it concerns yourself, get the recorded material out, as well as correct or delete the recorded material. However, we have the right to refuse this in certain cases if the work creates unreasonable administrative burdens or if the request entails privacy risks for other people.
GUB does not have the ability to search for personal information in filmed footage. We will also not be able to disclose or display image sequences where there are other identifiable persons, as we are obliged to protect their privacy.
Complaint
If you have a complaint about GUB’s processing of your personal data, you must contact the supervisory authority, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
