GUB har trygghetskameror installerade i alla bussar och vissa av våra trafikledare bär kamera. Inspelningar från busskamerorna tittar inte någon på GUB på, men vi lämnar på begäran från polis ut filmer till brottsutredningar.
Syftet med GUB:s kamerabevakning är att:
- Öka tryggheten för resenärer och personal
- På begäran från polisen, bistå med bildmaterial i deras utredningar om brott
Kroppsburna trygghetskameror
En del av trafikledarna är utrustade med kroppsburna kameror. Syftet med kamerorna är att minska hot och våldssituationer. Till skillnad från trygghetskamerorna i bussarna som alltid är påslagna så slår personalen själva på kameran manuellt vid behov. Filmmaterial från kroppskamerorna sparas enligt rutin en kort period på skyddade dataservrar hos GUB. Bara polisen kan begära ut filmmaterial om de behöver utreda ett eventuellt brott.
Om du blivit utsatt för ett brott ombord
Om du blivit utsatt för ett brott bör du omgående göra en polisanmälan så polisen kan begära in bildmaterial. Därefter gör polisen en brottsutredning. Bara polisen har tillgång till lagrat bildmaterial. GUB gör inga brottsutredningar.
Vid polisanmälan ber du polisens utredare att begära ut bildmaterial. Det måste göras snarast möjligt efter brottstillfället, annars är det risk att bildmaterialet går förlorat.
Personuppgifter – vilka är dina rättigheter?
Enligt dataskyddsförordningen har du rätt att få veta om du förekommer på film. Om det rör dig själv har du då rätt att få ut det inspelade materialet. Du har även rätt att kräva att vi ska rätta eller radera det inspelade materialet. Vi har dock rätt att neka om arbetet skapar orimliga administrativa bördor eller om begäran medför integritetsrisker för andra personer.
GUB har inte möjlighet att söka efter personuppgifter i det filmade materialet. Vi kommer heller inte att kunna lämna ut eller visa bildsekvenser där det finns andra identifierbara personer. Vi är ju tvungna att skydda deras integritet också.

Cameras – for a safer journey
GUB has security cameras installed in all buses and some of our traffic managers carry cameras. Films from onboard cameras are not viewed by anyone at GUB, but are by request delivered to the police for criminal investigations.
The purpose of GUB’s camera surveillance is to:
- Increase security for travelers and staff
- At the request of the police, assist with footage in their investigations into crime
Body-worn cameras
Some traffic controllers are equipped with body-worn cameras. The purpose of the cameras is to reduce threats and situations of violence. Unlike the cameras in the buses, which are always switched on, the staff themselves switch on the camera when needed. Films from the body-worn cameras are routinely saved a short while on protected servers at GUB. Only the police can request film material if they need to investigate a suspected crime.
If you have been the victim of a crime on board
If you are a victim of crime, immediately make a police report, so that the police can request recorded footage. The police then conduct a criminal investigation. Only the police have access to stored image material. GUB does not conduct criminal investigations.
When reporting to the police, you ask the police investigator to request footage. Requests must be done as soon as possible or there is a risk that the image material will be lost.
Personal data – what are your rights?
According to the Data Protection Ordinance, you have the right to know if you appear on film. If it concerns yourself you are entitled to request the recorded material. You may also demand of us to correct or delete the recorded material. However, we have the right to refuse this if it creates unreasonable administrative burdens or the request entails privacy risks for other people.
GUB does not have the ability to search for personal information in the filmed material. We will also not be able to disclose or display image sequences where there are other identifiable persons. We are obliged to protect their privacy too.
